Oh yes, I did!
The most decorated US Winter athlete and I had lunch on Friday when he was in Chicago, gearing up for the 1/2 marathon. SUBWAY invited me and about six other writers and bloggers to interview Ohno; over double turkeys on honey oat with cheddar lettuce, tomato, spinach, peppers, oil and vinegar (his fave), we talked about everything from high school sports to Dancing With the Stars to transitioning from speed skating (bent over, to the left) to marathon running (straight up, symmetrical.) I’ll be covering it in an upcoming espnW column as well as an ESPN High School interview. Stay tuned for more…
Until then, eat your hearts out!
Disclosure: SUBWAY invited me to this event, bought me lunch and provided me with a SUBWAY card.

I used to love oil & vinegar on my subway subs but you can’t get it anymore around here.
